چکیده

Phyllanthus emblica L. is traditionally used as both medicine and food in Taiwan. In this study, we evaluated the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotection bioactivities of P. fruit. fruit extracts had a high content total phenol flavonoids, chlorogenic acids. For antioxidant capacity, 95% ethanol-extracted best DPPH radical scavenging activity, ferrous ion chelating ability, reducing power compared with hot water, 50% ethanol, commercial extracts, showed highest lipid peroxidation inhibition. The present results have demonstrated that can protect oxidative degradation lipids by inhibiting FeCl3-ascorbate-mediated peroxidation. anti-inflammatory dose-dependent inhibition nitric oxide lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW264.7 cells significantly COX-2 bioactivity, higher percentages pheochromocytoma cell protection than extracts. Hot water ethanol PC12 hydroalcoholic neuroprotective effect against damage, which could be due to their activity. daily health beverages, foods, cosmetic products.
